Road Closed to Best Life

Road Closed

Road Closed—Is  this sign hanging on your  personal life?  Is your demeanor saying “road closed?” Sometimes we close the road to living our best lives without even knowing it. When this happens it prevents you from living your best life which is  your right.

At times we think in our minds that we have done everything we know to experience this best life, but see no manifestations. You ask,  why is it not happening for you?

The authorities placed this sign to warn you that this particular road is currently not in use due to some danger.  But, it does not matter the reason for it. The fact is, you cannot use this road and you are warned. Note that, the authorities have the power to do this. Similarly, you have the power to display or remove such a sign from your life journey because you are the authority over your best life.

When you display the “Road Closed” sign, you are telling others that they cannot enter your life.  Behind, this sign in the picture is a broken bridge, that  the authorities are protecting you from. In your case, do you understand why you are displaying the sign? It is for some sort of protection from your mind’s eye— consciously or subconsciously. Pause and have a conversation with self to figure out why. Work on removing this sign from your life so that you can invite those who need to be with you on the journey to enter.

Is Your Happiness Committed or Situational

Are you experiencing situational or committed happiness? Pause for a moment and think about it. You may be thinking someone or thing can make you happy. And this is a reasonable assumption based on the culture we live in. But, no one can make you happy, only you. Committed happiness is the one you create  within. On the other hand others can bring you situational happiness. What does this mean? It means that people can do things for you that brings you happiness, but as soon as they stop doing it you are no longer happy.  Indeed, that happiness was temporary and dependent.  This is not the happiness you are seeking to live your best life.

You ask, “how do I really create this happiness?” It is a decision you make every day you wake up and must continuously remind yourself throughout your day. Make the decision that, you are going to be happy no matter what happens. This is called the happiness decision. Once it is created within you, and you act, it spills over into your environment. It is very infectious and becomes visible. People will notice that you are happy.

Once you make this decision, you may find yourself going off track. Going off track for a minute is alright as long as you don’t stay there. Eventually, with practice you will be aware of the “decision killer” or situation and continue with your choice of happiness. Let the positive energy within you rise and remind you that you are choosing to be happy. With practice, your human self will align with the spirit and you will be able to make that commitment to be happy and it is accomplished. It is like training your muscle to run a race. The more you practice, the better you get at it.

 

The Power of Change is Yours

IMG_2176Do you know you are the owner of  change? Contrary to popular belief, the Power of Change is yours and you must use it in order to get to your best life. You are the only one capable of making a change in your life. Yes, you are holding this power in your hands. You are the author of change as it relates to your life. Do you know it is the greatest weapon in your best life arsenal? Indeed, it is. This Power of Change allows you to diagnose and fix the things in your life that you have identified.

So, what are some of the things you can and want to change on this journey? Just about anything is a good answer. If it makes you unhappy, you can change it. You need something different, you can change it. Yes, you hold this power and no one can take it from you.

Now, think about some of the things in your life that you would like to change. Make a list and start working on them. Remember, only you can do this.

Let me remind you own that the Power of Change in your sphere. No one can stop you. Change! Change! Change! Live your best life. Live The Chosen Life.

Listen to your Soul

Listen to your soul. It is probably one of the most valuable things given to you. But,  you must learn how to work with what it tells you.  You ask, what is your soul. The soul I am referring to is that small voice you hear inside. The one that you refer to as “my mind told me so.” Some refer to it as your conscience. It is always saying something to you and it is never wrong. Part of the best life journey is awareness to your soul. You must make a conscious effort to listen to your soul.

You ask, how do I do this? The soul is always talking to you, so you can be making the right moves for your best life journey. Though the soul is always speaking, you have the option to not listen. You have to be quiet so that you can hear, as too much noise tends to drown it out.  Pay attention as nothing in your life happens in a vacuum. That is, all things are connected in one way or another and the soul will let you know.

You must  be obedient to your soul for this best life journey to work for you.  With practice, you are able to identify what you need to say and do. You find peace in your actions when they come from the soul’s prompting.  When you are in that space where you can hear,  you are in sync and in the ebb and flow of your journey. This is manifested  in an exhilarating journey where you are living in the present.

Your take away—you find peace when you listen to your soul. You are living your best life when you listen to your soul.

False Expectation Appearing Real

fear3Are you experiencing, FEAR— False Expectation Appearing Real?  Fear is a powerful emotion and can have a devastating effect upon its victim. I want to tell you that there is a place in your life that we will call the Fear Zone. When you enter this zone, it does not matter why, you will experience fear.  In that moment you seem not to be able to focus on anything other than the False Expectation Appearing Real. Physically, for some, your palms sweat, your heart races and for others you tremble.  My encouragement today is for you to stay away from that zone.

Sometimes we go to the Fear Zone because we create expected results. Note what I am saying to you. We create the results we expect and think what it will be for a particular situation, and because we do not anticipate those results to be good, we tremble with fear. Other times we visit this zone because of fear of the unknown. We do not know what to expect and we are in fear. The fear of dying would be an example. On our Best Life journey, we must be aware of the Fear Zone.

If not dealt with, fear can be a crippling emotion. For the person experiencing this fear, it seems real. For those of you who have a FEAR experience, you know exactly what I mean by this. Regardless of what I am telling you here, in the experience of fear, it can be different if not managed.

How then do you deal with this? If possible, stay away from the Fear Zone by assuring yourself that there is not anything to be afraid of. But for those who enter, tell yourself  and believe that the experience will come to you and you will ride it out. Know that you will consciously walk through the experience as it unfolds—be open and embrace it. Live your Best Life, Your Chosen Life.

Doubt Can Destroy Self

doubt can destroy selfDoubt can destroy self. It is  a very powerful word and you should be aware of that. The action of doubt can lead you into dark places. It  can also lead you to do nothing because you do not have the courage to override the thought of it.

When you doubt, you are unsure. However, it comes with some amount of fear experience. In some instances the fear can cripple you.  Doubt is preventing many of us from doing simple things like getting a job or just going out and having a good time.

Now you ask, how do I get beyond doubt.  I want to tell you that you should keep looking forward and through the windshield of life. Keep doubt so far back, that you can only view it in the rear view mirror of your life. You must self talk to not be entwined by it. Tell yourself you have the courage to override it by letting self know “You can do this.” At first you probably won’t feel like anything in your space is changing, but keep telling yourself. Over time, you will feel the atmosphere  around you change and your confidence starts to build. This happens because you  are speaking life changing words to yourself. You are now believing these words and it shows. The best person to do this is you.

You will notice that your confidence booms and this is always exciting. If, you have to look in your rear view mirror and you see doubt back there, remember it is in the rear because you passed it. But, to ensure that your mind don’t go back to embracing it, you must repeat  your self talk. Do this every time you feel the word doubt greeting you. Cripple it and live your best life. Your Chosen Life.
