Everything in your life is Finite

Living Your Best LifeEverything in your life is Finite, and so is everything on The Alphabet Circle Journey.  This means that every interaction, and therefore each relationship, has a predetermined end date. However, no one knows its duration. Don’t be fixated on the idea that there is a specific duration; just remember that there is one. With this thought, embrace every interaction. Show up, be fully present, and enjoy, but recognize that the interaction is not eternal. On the Alphabet Circle Journey, the letter F is for Finite, which means the Finite phase of your Journey where you recognize a time-stamp.

Everything in your life is Finite, and so is everything on the Alphabet Circle. When you arrived in the earthly experience, you became Finite on the Alphabet Circle. Hence, you are only here for a Finite period. We do not consciously know when that end will come. But the soul knows. Is there anything infinite on the Alphabet Circle?

Think of it as a pregnancy. The baby will be born when it’s ready, regardless of the birth date the doctors give you. For that baby, when the state of readiness arrives, the time is now! There isn’t anything you can do to stop the delivery process at this point. So too, are the interactions on the Alphabet Circle. They proceed or stop when it’s necessary. They are pre-determined and thus Finite.

You Hold the Keys to Your Success

What we Seek

Key, Successful, Hanger, DesignYou hold the keys to your success. We all seek after that successful life and yes, some of us are looking in the right places for it. Sometimes, we seek after that “dream” job because we believe it will give us success. Other times, we seek after that house, car, or even a partner because we have convinced ourselves that it will bring us the success we are seeking. How about money? Too many of us believe that, if we had more money we would have a successful life. There isn’t anything wrong with seeking or having any of these items. What is wrong is believing that by seeking and acquiring them they will make you successful.

What’s Holding You Back from Success?

Do you know the real holdback to the successful life you are searching for is you? Yes, you are the only one holding you back as only you can bring this success to yourself. Remember, you hold the keys to your success.

Know Your Purpose and Find Success

I offer to you that, you were made with a purpose because it was deposited in you as seeds. All before you arrived on the planet.  Your purpose is your role in this big picture called life. You ask, how do I know my purpose? Well, it is related to the things that you are drawn to. The things that you enjoy doing. Your success lies within your purpose and you must find it. When you are operating within your purpose, you are efficient, in the ebb and flow of your life and things seem to fall in place.

Let me tell you that finding this purpose is not always an easy thing to do. However, like a seed you plant, it goes through a process to bear fruits. It sprouts, develops into a plant, and eventually bear fruits. So are you on this Best Life journey for purpose and success. You may be in your sprouting stage and not your fruit stage. Pay attention to your details and become aware of your stage. This awareness will lessen your frustrations, as you will know where you are in your process to your purpose. Remember, you hold the keys to your success.

I implore you to pay attention. Find your purpose and find your successful life.

Tips to Conquer Fear in the Covid-19 Season

Is fear crippling you?  Do you feel afraid of the news you are hearing about COVID-19? You are not aA book that informs you about fearlone. Fear is one of the most crippling emotions and can kill you if you don’t become aware.  While we are in the “Stay at home Order,” let’s take control of our minds and how we see fear and deal with it. We don’t have to be stapped with fear in the COVID-19 season.

What is Fear

You can’t have doubt in the moment. When fear steps into your life, you must now deal with it in such a way that you become the winner. Fear is False Expectations Appearing Real. I want you to remember that.

Why Do We Fear and How it Manifests

When things happen and you believe that you have lost control or you have lost hope, that’s when fear can come upon you. Your heart races. Your palms sweat, and your breaths are shallow. Everything in your body feels like it’s tightening and you probably feel like you going to die because fear is being manifested.

How to Conquer Fear

On the Alphabet Circle Journey, which is a best life practice, fear is one of the emotions we bring awareness to, so we can deal with it in such a way that it never wants to come back. You must have a new mindset to conquer fear. So when fear visits with you, I want you to  take long deep breaths and  then do the following;

  1. Acknowledge fear and speak to it, “Fear, I know you are here but today is the wrong day.”
  2. Next, tell fear, “You have no power over me.” Repeat this three times.
  3. Next, repeat three times,  “I am in control of my life.”
  4. Now empower yourself by saying, “I have the spirit of power and love inside me and you fear cannot shake that.” Do this three times.
  5. Next say to fear, “I choose not to be afraid as I am Love. I embody Love.”
  6. Take a few deep breaths and relax.

Do this exercise as many times as you need to, or until you feel safe. For additional information and things you can do please get a copy of  my book at Amazon

Please leave me a comment to let me know how this worked for you and let me know where you are on your fear journey.

Panic Attack_Don’t Let them Hijack Your Day

In this video, Dr. Maxine Wright-Walters talks about panic attacks and how not to let them hijack your day. She shares that Fear is the big ingredient in a panic attack and offers a way for viewers to deal with their panic attacks. She suggests that we all should be mindful and once we practice the things she suggests our mind body and soul will relax and come into alignment. If you are having panic attacks because you are home in this Coronavirus situation, don’t allow them to hijack your day. Don’t let them control you.

Relationships are Flowers in Your Life Garden

Relationships are flowers you grow in your life garden. Which flowers did you plant in your Life garden? We’ve all created a relationship farm on this earth. Since the time we were born, we have been planting. Yes, we have been planting relationships. Every interaction in your life is a relationship. It can be business or personal. The same rules apply as to how they form and when and how they leave.

You planted several relationships in elementary school and some of those folks are still with you. Same for high school, college, work, church or social club. You meet folks daily in other settings and foster relationships with them too. So now, take a look at your relationship Life garden and see whats in it. Do you have those roses relationships? Beautiful but dicey? What about evergreens? Always predictable and can be relied on. These are the ones that are there through thick and thin and won’t fade away no matter how rough the ride gets. What about those lilies relationship? They start out so beautiful and strong and looks like they would last a long time but only in a short moment they fade away?

Which Flower are You?

Let’s explore. Roses are beautiful but filled with thorns. They represent the people who you have great relationships with but upon a closer look they are dicey. From afar, these roses relationships look and smell good, but as you look closer you see the cracks. Can you identify a few of these kinds of relationships in your life? Don’t  be alarmed because all is not lost. You can work with these relationships and gently trim the thorn over time.

Evergreens lasts and are resilient. Always, looking green no matter the season because this is who they are at the core. We all need to have some evergreen relationships to keep us in balance. Can you think of some of your evergreen relationships and what those folks mean to you?

Lilies represent short term relationships because the life of a lily is never long. They bloom in the most beautiful colors, but they only live a few weeks, before they die. When we see lilies, we know that the Spring season is upon us. We know we are getting ready to grow. Lily relationships are those that are short but sweet. They did not last long but you enjoyed them and they gave you hope. Can you think of some of your lily relationships and reminisce on how they made you feel?

As an author, I love hearing from my readers. This is what keeps me writing. Leave me a comment to let me know about your rose evergreen or lily relationships.  Also, check out my Authors Web site at Https://www.thealphabetcircle.com

Test Your Happiness

IMG_4306Test Your Happiness. What exactly is happiness? And why does it evade so many folks? Happiness is a state of mind. It evades because it requires a constant commitment and re-commitment to be happy. There are various degrees of happiness and on a happiness scale of 1 to 10, folks are at every number. What makes such a difference in our degrees of happiness? (more…)

Is Your Expectation Destroying You?

What is your expectation of your friend, co-worker, child or parents?  Expectation plays a big part in any relationship and can sometimes destroy them, if we are not careful. In any relationship, we expect, whether we aware are or not, we do. We expect a particular behavior from folks with whom we interact. It could be a colleague or even a child, and the interaction can be verbal or non-verbal.

What Happens When Our Expectation is not Met

We get disappointment when others do not meet our  expectations. And so I ask;

  1.  Is that fair to you or the other person?
  2. How open are you to embrace others when they show up (manifests) as who they are in the experience?
  3. Why do we get mad when people show up in their experience as themselves?

What If We are Open to Being Present

Now, let’s focus on being open, which requires us to Be Present in the experience, there will be no disappointment. In this space, we are not judgmental, and ego plays no part in the experience because we are consciously aware of being present. Having this backdrop, how open are you to children showing up with their scars and wounds in their experiences without any judgment? But simply an appreciation for the whole organic human showing up.

We Expect of Everyone

First, I’ll focus on kids. As a teacher or parent, how often are you open to a child when he/she manifests who they are? We get shocked because society says the child should behave in a particular way, or the school rules say the child should show up as “something” they can recognize. Children, like adults are humans with scars that they carry as well as  battle wounds. The problem is  we expectation our children to be  the standard norm.  How many of our children are that?  How many of our adults are the standard norm?

Second, let’s talk about grown-ups. As Broken or Wounded children we grow up into the said adults. We transfer the experience  into the adult space such as a job. See, its a vicious cycle and until we address the wounds we cannot think about a resolve for these humans.

No one would not try to have an in-depth conversation with a sick person. You would wait until that person heals before doing that. Same here. We must address the wounds and get them healed, and we must recognize that the scars represent the history of the human.  Be cognizant, Be aware and that’s a good start. Allow them to show up and be who they are right now. It’s OK.
