Failure not opposite Success

Failure is not the opposite of success for humans. However, failure is an overused word that you should remove from your vocabulary.  How can you be considered a failure? How can any human being be declared a failure? I have good news- no one is a failure. The classical meaning of failure is the state or condition of not meeting a desirable or intended objective, and may be viewed as the opposite of success.

Lets talk about the “state or condition of not meeting a desirable or intended objective” as a human being. The first question that comes to mind is whose objective? It is indeed a manufacturer’s objective if we are talking about a product. But since our discussion is about humans, it is the Creator’s.  See, when you arrived on the planet you came equipped with everything necessary to live your purpose driven life.  All the tools needed to do this are within you. They were placed there by your Creator. As a human you have the option to reach in and get them anytime. No one can stop you from doing that. It is your God given right. How soon you do that is up to you based on your experiences. But there is no timeline involved here as awareness must first come and upon enlightenment you will be driven to use your tools.

So based on our classical definition, your desirable or intended objective was decided by your Creator. It seems therefore that for someone to classify you as a failure they must know  what was in the Creator’s mind for you. In other words they must have access to your blueprint and equipped with information about you to perform a gap analysis on your life. I am delighted to tell you that NO ONE has that diagram or information on you. Thus, no one can decide if you or anyone else is a failure. This also means that no one can decide on your success.  You are  a  human living the life you were given.

Your Uncancelled Purpose

What is your uncancelled purpose? An electric kettle is still a kettle though it is not plugged into a power source. So let’s say it is an electric kettle that is right now not operating as a kettle. At the moment, it is just an object. However, once this kettle is filled with water and plugged into a power source, it starts to operate as it was created to do by the manufacturer. In other words, it starts to fulfill its intended purpose. (more…)
